SETA Southeast - Fun in the Sun in Tampa
Penny M Ginn, SETA SE05 Conference Chair
Kay Hume, SETA SE05 Program Chair
SETA’s third conference in the Southeast will be located in Tampa, Florida from Sunday, April 10 through Tuesday, April 12, 2005. Mark your calendars now! The conference hotel is the Crowne Plaza Tampa East -- an excellent facility in which to meet, network, and relax.
The Conference Track Chairs are hard at work finalizing presenters and session details. SETA Southeast will have a variety of sessions of interest to users of SunGard SCT’s solutions for higher education: Banner, Plus, Luminis, and more. SETA Southeast is also developing a Leap Track of sessions of specific interest to those migrating to Banner from Plus. The conference will have a variety of presenters: your colleagues who utilize and make these systems work on a daily basis, SunGard SCT experts, and exhibiting vendors.
The SETA Southeast 2005 Conference Committee is composed of:
- Penny Ginn, Presbyterian College - Conference Chair
- Kay Hume, Tennessee Technological University - Program Chair
- Colette Williams, University of Memphis - SETA Board Liaison
- Kim Christie, Mercer University - AV/Tech Coordinator

User conferences enhance the abilities of attendees by providing thought-provoking and informative presentations, networking opportunities with peers, and opportunities to talk to vendors about problems and new capabilities.
We would like to encourage everyone who has something interesting to share to sign up to do a presentation or a panel. It is a great way to get involved and meet others with similar interests; plus, the conference will not work without your participation. Join us in spring for a great schedule of sessions and have some fun in the sun in Tampa, Florida!
